Tracy Telenko, Ron Smith, Brian Pate, John Carter, Drew Ludlow, Christie Cook, Lenny Fritts, Jeff Simpson, Jim Barbee. Peter Krumenacker, John Williford, Bill Smith, Joe Bunn. Guests in Attendance: Ross Merly, Paul Bailey and Leiza Hall from Island Time Entertainment

Meeting called to order at 6:17 by President Brian Pate. Members introduced themselves around the table for the guests in attendance. Formal application received by Ross Merly, he has paperwork in order and has been observed. Motion was asked for nomination, Bill Smith nominated and was seconded by Lenny Fritts. Voted by members and unanimously approved into membership.

New member for consideration in attendance Paul Bailey application has been filled out and he has been observed on one non wedding function by Brian Pate one more needed for approval and needs to be some type of wedding function. Paul Bailey to supply us with dates to choose from for someone to review.

Treasurer Joe Bunn gave report $1,342.12 in the bank and we are now past overdraft charges. Dues were collected from remaining members that have not paid yet. Treasurers report passed for everyone to review. Ron Smith webmaster needs Ross' information to add to site and officers need to be added to our private site. Need to make sure all of our information is correct, sheet was passed to review and make any changes needed.

Discussion on a Public Relations position began, should it be the Vice President's duty floor opened for discussion on what the job would entail. John Carter mentioned should be spokesperson for the group do fliers for the show. Brian Pate remarked it should not be an extensive position we already have contacts established. Jeff Simpson asked if there were any funds he would do it but wanted it done right. Brian said that it would be a process to develop the position. Bill Smith brought up the question of what we have in the future that would require this position to do something. It was decided to table the conversation to get to other business and discuss via email discussion.

Bridal Show review began there was a discussion of the amount of exposure we gained. It was decided that we should have a true booth not just a space beside where our equipment was because people may not know that there is information there to get. Joe Bunn said he would contact Dominick about this. Expenditures from account was talked about maybe a sign or brochures possibly a backdrop. Discussion continued on a new marketing piece something along the lines of what we have but with a different look. Christie will send Joe a file of the current one and he will make changes and send to everyone for approval he will also look into having a sign made. Tracey Telenko offered to help with graphic design of brochure and sign.

Next business was vote of new officers the slate was Bill Smith President, Jeff Simpson Vice President, Lenny Fritts Treasurer. John Williford made motion to accept and Ross Merly made second slate was unanimously approved. Discussion on next meeting it was agreed Wednesday March 8th at 6pm with location to be determined.

New business - NC State Dance a thon will begin Friday February 3rd at 6pm , will be in gym behind the Tally center. DJs interested in helping take a shift contact John Carter. Relay for Life in Wake Forest Brian Pate is the Entertainment Director has pressbox reserved will need one person in pressbox one on the field with a microphone. It is a musical themed year. Bill Smith will be doing Karaoke on Friday night the 19th Will want some of us to volunteer. John Williford brought up financial issue for those that do video and it was decided to meet after the meeting about that.
