Website - Bill asked Tracy to investigate a members only forum to post excellent discussions about the Friday weddings Brian brought up. He felt that email is a tough place to do this at, and the members only format (hidden away from prying eyes andd brides) would be a great palce to have those types of discussions.
Bill suggested Start.proDJ.com to be a great place to emulate this. Tracy will look into the TDJA web hosting agent that all ready has the bridal forum.

Proposed meeting place - Marriott in Durham - John Williford action item is to procure a presentation by the facility to the TDJA, we would provide our own catering (chinese pizza etc.)

Dear Dom,

As the current president of the Triangle DJ association, I wanted to personally thank you and your team for the wonderful support you've shown our organization as we conclude our 3rd year. The impact that we are having grows each and every day, and support by Forever Bridal has been an integral part of that. We hope that you've enjoyed the quality of support from our various members during the past year. We plan to continue that in the future.

I wanted to also thank you for the even handed way in which you handled the incident at the April show with Complete Music. We share your concerns about evoking the right stance at these shows, and we feel that the interference by their representative certainly was a step in the wrong direction. We as a group have discussed how to handle future issues regarding this, and would like your input as to any additional steps that might be needed prior to the upcoming show to prevent a repeat occurrence.

I can assure you that in our "pitch" as the TDJA, we are not stating to any prospective bride that she shouldn’t consider Complete, as may have been alleged. We have asked prospective clients to consider the list of professionals on our flyer as a place to start to look for their entertainment.

We hope that you understand our concerns and are willing to work with us to prevent any such situation at all future shows.

Thanks for all your support, and please let me know what we can do to help in the success of the shows.

Thanks for all your support, and please let me know what we can do to help in the success of the shows.
